Artist's Comments

Inspired by the movie 'Manufactured Landscape'.

Shot with an Infra-Red filter.

I wanted to have the kind of false color, cold and whitish tone so I tried it in IR, and some post-process BW.

The main colors in the photo are as you can see, red being the strongest, and a bit of yellow and then slight blue in the sky. I tried to create a harmony between these primary colors with white.

*The word you see on the left just below the 'iS' sign is "工业", which means "Industry/ial" in Chinese, a very interesting coincidence.

I absolutely LOVE this photograph. I saw it in my devwatch thingy-ma-bob and I swear to you my heart skipped a beat. [I honestly don't know why I like it so much though]

The composition is amazing, and the way the primary colors are subtle but still noticable is beautiful. The white ties into them very well.

I take what's most beautiful in this world and immortalize it in images.

I try to give critique, like it or not. It doesn't mean I don't like your work, it's just another point-of-view you might have or might have not though
