Of the three panoramic works you posted, this one seems the most satisfactory in result. The distortion at the ends works well with the blur of the amusement ride. The saturated and artificial colors lend vibrancy and certainly attract attention to the image. The textures in the ceiling match the strangeness of the castle scene on the left. The blur is well positioned in the frame - - not cutoff and not centered and pushing the edge of the frame. The shot is well executed in the sense that the focus and lighting and framing are all well done and in particular the time of the exposure caught the streaking lights to near perfection. Look at them long enough and you might get motion sickness!

But panoramic shots remain for me a bit of a gimmick. The exact same image could be produced, if the building allowed, with a wide angle lens and a crop to this aspect ratio. I keep thinking there needs to be a reason to tell the story of the image in this format. Or the format needs to deliver a message in some fashion that cannot be delivered otherwise. And I struggle to find those things in almost every panoramic picture and almost never do. If this picture were not in this format, I could see the ground under the amusement ride or more of the roof and gain more context. So there must be reason not to show these and I don't know what that reason could be other than the choice of equipment.

I am excited by the format and almost never get satisfaction. At least here I can remember why I don't get on to these contraptions. Look what they do the light - - just imagine what it might do to the body.
